This exam and that series are going to expire in July 31 of this year (http://www.oracle.com/education/cer...evr2retire.html). So, if you are just getting started on the Application Developer track, go for the Release 6/6i exams (although this particular exam is valid for both Release 2 and Release 6/6i).

But, I *think* the only text that is out for the 1Z0-121 exam is the Oracle Press Book covering all the Oracle Application Developer Exams for Release 2 by Jason Couchman.

Thanks for the information...but as you said it is common so I will give it a try...what about the tests...STS is a good one?

I didn't even use the STS for the Forms I exam, that Oracle Press Book was all I used and found that to cover everything sufficiently for 1z0-121. I did use the STS for the Program Units exam and found it helpful for that exam

STS stands for Self test software. It is a company which make practice test for several certification tracks including Oracle. They are mentioned on the Oracle site as a good source for preparing for the Develeoper or the DBA tracks.

The questions they offer are ver close and in some case identical to what is on the test. They work in conjuction with Oracle to make these test as realistic as possible.
I know from personal experience since i used them for the first two test 1z0-001 and 1z0-101 and passed both with 54/57 score. They r a good tool but not the only one. U need some books and some basic knowledge of the concepts. They reduces the prep time.

These test r sold in US www.selftestsoftware.com for abt $99/test.

Each practice test has abt 200-300 practice questions. In my opinion they r worth the money. U can find them cheaper in the secondary markets like several Oracle Forums where people advertised them for sale after they have used them.

I hope this helps

Sorry I didn't respond earlier!

STS was very useful for Program Units exam. Also, once you buy an STS, sign up to receive email from the company as the often offer discounts later on when you buy another exam from them.

Good Luck!
