| with 59/64!!
It was easier than SQL. Mostly short questions and only a few code checking (1 or 2 questions).
I only need 40 minutes to work through the exam and had a lot of spare time to check anything again.
Prepare the ini-parameters and their settings thoroughly! (Resource usage, checkpoints) 7 (!!) questions about tablespaces and datafiles and 5 on redo logs. NLS dictionary views.

| Congratulations you did well.
B/R is a lot harder than A&A and PLSQL.
read more about READ ONLY tablespaces and RMAN.

| I'm not sure which exam to take next: B/R or Networking ...
Which materials are you using ocp1201 ? There is much stuff (cramsessions, tips etc.) for PLSQL and also A&A on several sites, but for the other three exams there is almost nothing. Especially for networking which is very poorely covered in the Couchman book. Also examnotes only knows the OCP-8-track which retires in March 2002
Any tips how to proceed?
Thanks! | |

| i used purely ILTs, its enough to pass the exam. the exam is quite hard. there are lots of questions on RMAN (more than 10 questions), datafile & tablespaces (esp READ ONLY).
you have to understand how Oracle B/R works during different scenarios (esp on ACHIVELOG MODE). a little experience will help.
Take B/R its more related to A&A. you can also take P/T instead if you have not taken it.
good luck. |
