What i need info on is the client side admin, ie setting up new users and profiles. troubleshooting etc...can someone give me some tips or information on this. Is the client side admin hard? profiles etc? I am a novice unfortunatly?
Any info much appreciated.
Cheers in advance... | |

| you might want to take a look at Brian Madden's Citrix book. It might be overkill, but it should help you out.

What exactly are you having a problem with?

| hey thanks for that...i want to know basically how to set up clients with citrix. I know you have to install the ica client and point to the correct citirx server.
What i wanted info on was to do this and setting up profiles and maybe some troubleshooting.
Thanks for all the help, I sound like a real novice!! But I really am starting to like thin client tech and want to get into citix..
Thanks in advance.. | |

| do you have a lab setup running Citrix?
for starters download the latest ICA client from Citrix. And install it on your client PC. As you are running through the install, write down any questions you have. And ask here. I'm assuming you are using a Win32 system and not *nix or an actual thin client. You want the full .exe version of the client.
After the install, we can work on setting up a custom ICA connection.
Then we can talk about published apps.
