| I wonder if anyone can help me or at least point me in the right direction.
I am trying to connect to my citrix box from a remote site. The clients are both PC and Mac. I am not using NFuse. I am connecting directly though a firewall to the server using Program Neighborhood. There is no NAT involved.
I can connect if I put the server Address into my ica connection and not use the published app radio button. I connect using port 1494 and Citrix starts, I get a Widows login screen, authenticate, but it only shows the server desktop and doesn't start the published apps. If I try using the published app radio button option, it goes out UDP 1604, and returns from the server through the same port to the box at the remote site, but says no apps found or no citrix server found.
The company that sells the software (pub app) and set up the server doesn't do remote connectivity. We called a remote connectivity guy, and he said this should work (the program neghborhood connection was his idea). The firewall/network guy is very knowledgeable but is not well versed in Citrix and really can't help. We can't use NFuse so it's out of the question.
I have looked on the Citrix website but haven't found anything that can help. Any help or ideas would be welcome.
Thanks, Matt |
