| What exactly is Citrix?
Are there good beginner books on it?

| citrix is a server side solution that enables thin clients to gain access to applications that live on the server. It is very much like Terminal Server in NT and 2K. To a certain extent, it is a bit like a mainframe/thinclient enviromnent.
I have free Citrix resources on my site. I also wrote a study guide for the CCA available at www.mcsefreakpress.com/cca.htm
Let me know if I can help more

| Thank you! There is a job I am applying for that wants minimal Citrix knowledge. That site should help me a lot. | |
|
| tell you what: email me at dave@mcsefreak.com and I will send you my study guide for free. It might not get you the job, but it sure can't hurt! | |

| Can I have it too? | |
|
| sorry, can't do that -- or else I might as well close down shop
It was a spontaneous act where I was trying to help out. But I do have give aways on a regular basis, and we have a buy 2 get 3 studyguides deal going on right now at www.mcsefreakpress.com/3for2.htm if it can be of interest!
Take care. | |

| Thanks
I should have added that not only do the clients gain access to apps on the server, but also that the apps are run on the server...
