| I use a datbase software at work that is based on Citirx, only problem is I have no clue what citrix is? Question: If I get into studying this software, is it a good way to get into a nice job? | |

| Hi ,
Learning Citrix is one of the shortest way to find a job with high wage.
I am learning Citrix now, and it shows what I am saying is true.

| Citrix Metaframe is basically an extension of Terminal Services. It uses the ICA protocol, rather than RDP, which gives better performance and more features. So the database program you mentioned may be accessed through a Citrix session, but it's a different program loaded onto the server and not part of Metaframe itself.
Citrix is a worthy specialization, but it's not so highly sought after that it will guarantee a job, especially in the dismal job market of today. I'm going to be interviewing for a short contract job involving Metaframe, but it's taken me months to get this far. | |
