I would check your licensing. See if all of your licenses are being pooled correctly. This is especially important if you are running a farm. I have seen the IMA service freak out and the backend database die. Thereby causing a reboot of the server and hundreds of sessions lost. I'll tell you it isn't pretty but it happens.

I would also check out http://www.thethin.net/
I swear by this site. Before I call citrix on any issues with my servers I check there and I have only had to call citrix once in the past 4 months.

Best of luck.

Hi there,

I've encounter a similar problem where the user couldn't open applications; Publish apps
When I tried to log to the farm I wasnt able.

So if you have this problem please install this hot fix;
ftp://ftp.citrix.com/metaXP/w2k/XE100W015.EXE

The reason you are seeing ICA clients with server not available is your master browser is not working properly. I have had this happen for two reasons...

You have a dual NIC in the Metaframe server & the master browser is toggling on the 2 subnets (see Citrix TID), or you have an older SP on 1 of the Metaframe servers & you have two Metaframe servers trying to be the master browser. Use "qserver /election" to force an election & update all your Metaframe server to the latest SP's. Their is also an MS hotfix, but I cannot remember the Q #.

Good Luck
