I tried the ExamCram, ExamPrep, 3rd Editon... I passed the A+ exams & I found it so useful.... It contains so much things about the W2K...... It gives the detailed info & the most important points that u need for the exam in the same time...

BUT most of the experienced people recommend the Mike Mayer's book & i guess that it's really perfect... but I already had another book.

Go with the Mike Myers book and the exam essential program to help you pass the exam.

I bought the Mike Myers's "All in One" 2001 Edn and with some other notes from the net. I passed the exams few weeks ago. Took me over two months to study...

Remember, my book is old, but it's still OK for my exams. Get the latest Edn if you can.

Good luck

Phil.

I've got Mike Meyers' All-in-one book and I already passed Core Hardware last week. It helped me a lot. It took me about a month to prepare myself. Now I'm doing the same for the OS exam! I think the book is excellent!

Mike Meyers books are very good, especially when you use all three (All-in-one, lab, passport).

I have prepared by reading the All-in-One, then doing a lab from the Lab Manual, and finishing up by reviewing in the passport book. Its a great combination.

i used mikes book for the Network + and new riders for A+ as well as the Microsoft book ...

the new riders one has the most detail, it has to be said and i would prefer this as a bible of computer problems, however mikes will get you through the exam the best, as well as some good exam testing software (which is essential) ....

i was lucky in that i found something at a website called "roosters A+ site" although i'm sure this site is closed now, but you can look ........ look for the A+ webrings etc theres a lot of stuff considering how little the A+ means here in Britain

anyway see ya

some of the MM books are good, but 210 is not. it serves a general purpose but you could do better reading a book with less errors.
