| Hey Preacher37,
You are not going to find a single source book that will cover all of Microsoft's Operating Systems for the registry! The registry and the tools between them are slightly different, just think about Windows NT (3.5x & 4.x), Windows 9x (95, 98 & Me), then you have Windows 2000 & Windows XP.
I have four different books on my shelf now from O'Reilly & Que! It is best to be careful and backup your work before making attempts to modify the registry directly - best to use the O/S applets indirectly!
