Haven't bought one since the Mastering NT 4 Server, but loved the one I bought. Mark Minasi is an excellent writer.

I have mastering windows 2000 server 3rd edition.

One of the best books I have bought. Not super technical and easy to follow steps in setting up stuff.

Really good buy.

I have mastering Windows 2000 server. A great book, well writen, but lack some important information like intellimirror, processor affinity...

There is another great book: the ultimate Windows 2000 systems administrator guide.
I my opinion, this one is more complete.

hope this help!

Mark is very well respected in the community. Don't ever pass up the chance to hear him speak. He is very entertaining, and tells a lot of M$ jokes. Haven't heard anyone complain about his books, that's for sure. If you want some good free info. go to minassi.com, and check out his archive of newsletters. Some good info. there.
