hello ppl...

i want to know whic is the best book n OS for linux. is it red hat or suse linux? pls guide me to a good book so i can start with my linux as i am a beg. i dont know much about linux so i want a book that is really down to earth and has all the stuff in it. this way i will not get left half way in installing linux and working around it. also pls advise me on which OS to bye in linux and from where...

I use Mandrake 8.0 at home, seems pretty good for beginners. (www.mandrake.com)
