DId anybody read the books "interconnections second edition by Radia Perlman"?
It is an excelent book on bridges, routers, and switches.
And she is the creater of the Spanning Tree Protocol.

| If I am not mistaken Radia Perlman also developed the IS-IS protocol. Then Novell hired her to develop the NLSP protocol. I haven't read any of her books, but I would think, given her credentials, her books would, at the very least, contain some very good information. | |

Yes, it is a good book and I read it to finish. Good writing style as well.
the most important thing is that this book is vendor neutral. That is a lot, these days.
