| Ladies and gentlemen,
I am just about to embark on the NT 4 to Win2K track. Of you that have taken the exam, What are the best training resources out there. Unlike, Cisco, where you need to stick with Cisco Press, I have found in the past the best study rescources are not published by Microsoft.
thanks | |

| My advice, don't rely on any one source. MS Press Cour four are a must as are the Resource Kits. That said, it's down to personal preference really, I used Sybex for my NT4 track and I used them for this one as well as the MS Press ones.
Did that make sense? Sorry, I was on a bender last night....head is very sore... :-( | |

| Plus if you get the MS Core training kits make sure you get the errata for all of them | |

| I knew that i'd spelt something wrong "COUR" should read "Core", don't you hate it when things are blurred? | |

| Agreed that more than one source is best. I am not a big fan of Sybex. I used them with NT 4 track. I found that in less than half of the six exams I took was Sybex an adequate source. Was ok for NT Workstation,Server, and TCP/IP. In most cases, I found that Sybex was a good cure for ensomnia(sp?) I found myself relying on examcram books as a better "exam" study source.
Corps Fore ;-) that is the Marine Corps golfing version
thanks folks |
