Author ebook is missing in Sybex CDROM, why?

A friend of mine bought a Sybex Accelerated Windows 2000 Study Guide by a gang of five authors but he cound not find any program that allowed him to install the ebook to his PC from the CDROM that comes with the study guide.

His PC has the adobe reader already installed. He could only find pdf file for the exercise. There is no sign of any sort that an ebook is contained in the cdrom because a file with a reasonable size of a ebook is simply not there.

Does anyone have the same experience? Should he return the book to the bookstore? If anyone knows how to fix it, please advice.

Thanks everyone.

The e-book should auto-load from the CD. Try executing the "clickme" application.

Thank you for your input. It does not autoload nor execute clickme application fixing it. I tried those before I post the message above.I am afriad the ebook is simply not included even the readme file says the accompany CD has the ebook. If you read my 1st message above, I have good reasons to make this conclusion.
