Looks rather long! Have they ever heard of "Proofreaders?"

Actually, they do have proof readers, copy editors and technical editors. What happens is that after it goes through the rigorous review process it gets sent to production where countless unforseen things can happen. At that point when the proofs are completed the author is supposed to go through line by line looking for any errors that occured in production, but this can be monotonous. Also, once the book is put into print form, there can also be many unforseen errors, which the author looks over and submits a list of those errors to Coriolis. At that point Coriolis has the opportunity to choose to reprint the entire book, or to post the information in the errata section of their website.

A very technical response from a very technical person. BTW I heard about your minor setback. Keep your chin up and your Q&A on with Yeti.

Paisleyskye thanks for the indepth insight...

Even so you would expect more QA than this form a publishing house would you not?

First I have to say this:

Yeti, after reading your postings, I have come to the conclusion that you are one weird hairy mammal

Second, I'd like to point out that the absence of an errata page can mean either:
1)There are no errors in the book
OR
2)The publisher/writer just doesn't give a f**ck

Since I've just ordered the examprep book a couple of days ago, I'm hoping that #2 applies in this case.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback for the exam.

BTW, If you don't pass this sucker I promise I'll do my best to round up a team of Topless Swedish Chainsaw Jugglers and send them your way as consolation price
