| I took the exam and did not pass. As I work my way through the first core 4, I find that the section of 70-240 dealing with the contents of 70-216, network infrastructure was probably my downfall.
Troytec is a good study guide. If you find something you don't understand in Troytec, look it up.
For this exam you really should have a home lab. When I first saw the title of your post the reply that immediately came to mind is "Study Everything."
Go to Microsoft's Site, read the related KB artciles, (The Cramsessions at http://www.brainbuzz.com are good for pointing you to the right docs. Then read the RFC's behind the Microsoft docs.
All in all, this is a grueling exam. You MUST have a solid foundation in the entire basic structure of Win2K in order to pass. And even then it's not a cake walk.
Best of Luck!

| Good Luck. If you have questions, this is the right place to ask. Speaking for myself, if I don't know an answer, I'll gladly do a websearch, and you've got a lot of really bright people here like MCSE freak, Techie2B, cadman, Yeti et al. (If I did not mention you by name that does not mean I don't think you're really bright, it means that I couldn't bring your name immediately to mind - my head is too full of facts. Besides I was in a car accident todday.)
