| well ppl i passed this test m$ layed on me.
and im glad m$ gave us this option, not only do i have save $600, but it was very easy..
my order was
pro 24qs
net inf 22
server 29
AD 22
i finished 1.5Hr, and i knew i passed..
while i was even doing the exam
btw my VRefresh=150
so umm, i think ur monitor might just flicker at that refresh rate...hell,my monitor doesnt even support 80Hz
all i can, is get in there and hurry up..

| i didnt get anything on OSPF or border router , backbone type questions..
let me tell u, there was one specific braindump i used had 95 percent of the qs on there..the rest are pretty easy to work out | |

| yes by sweetboy, i can guarantee more than 95% where on my test, besides from a couple rewordings..and wrong answers

2weeks reading sybex 4 core, and 2 weeks doing questions...
if i studied the four core on their own, it wouldve taken me at least 2months | |

| there was alot of drag n drop, like expected..
the RIS qs i had where like, why cant the client pcs connect to the RIS server...
mainly...
one was DHCP missing, another you had to make boot disk..anohter was, authorise ris in ad, easy stuff like that..
nothing with AD replication..
DNS drag n drop..
there was a drag n drop,AD back up q..
where u boot intom directory restore mode, run ntdsutil (whatever it is), run authoritve restore, boot normally, (similar like that)
umm, lets see..couple GPO qs,,like scenario ones.choose all that apply..easy RAID qs..
3 subnetting qs..drag n drop, ipconfig qs..
u just select the wrong setting, in my case the answer was wrong WINS server..then the next question after that related to the same q..but said how do u correct,,,very very easy folks, if u know ur stuff..
feel free to ask me more..
oh and yes, u could mark the qs..
i think ur given another 15mins after uve completed all four..to check some answers..but i didnt take anynotice..i just wanted to leave.... | |

| yer around 20% om drag m drop, nothing logic cant sort out..
yes ive worked on both on rolling out win2k pro and supporting, and testing and building 800 win2k servers , all as DC's and AD...
so um, yer abit of experience with AD in the real world..
a home lab would be fine...
ive got server running with DNS, DHCp,RRAS, AD, running...oh yer, terminal server aswell,
working sweet for me, enough for me to learn, or play around with and get farmiliar with,..
people, work hard, do qs, understand,and educated guesses and knowledge will get u thru..
trust me...

| Don't get too stressed about it. I was pulling my hair out trying to learn all this stuff and struggling with Transcenders (which are much harder than the real thing). When it came down to it, the exam wasn't as hard as I thought.
Read each question carefully - think it through and eliminate the dud answers. Then make an educated guess if you have to.

| Well, I am studying for Cisco cuz this exam is a killer. I thought there is no chance I could pass it so I thougth I would do CCNP first... I am mid way through that.
But if this sweetboy braindump is so good, perhaps I will make at attempt at it.

29 for server, 22 for net inf, and 22 for ad
a grand total of 97 questions..
which i completed in 1.5hrs..

where u had to place an enterprise subordinate or something like that..
but thats it..
i had a q where u had to use 40-bit encryption...so i set it to BASIC..
other answers where STRONG..dunno the rest.

| This exam is in conventional form. I had 97 questions for 235 minutes. See zEpS, but order AD, Pro, NetInfra, Serv. The time is counts each section separately. You`ll not given the result score, just PASS or FAIL. | |

so if u pass each exam seperatly ull be fine..dont quote me on this..
do u thnk m$ would like to pass u if u only creamed in server and pro, and failed net inf and AD, i dont thnk so..
but im not sure, no1 knows how it is..
dont worry about it..
get in there and do it, do it for yourself..
ull be glad u passed it, ppl will think u know ur stuff after passing what ppl thought was unthinkable..when i passed mine, this guy said to me, get in their brother, top 20%..
and i thought, hey, what an acheivement..
i honestly wish u all the best, and love to see other ppl pass this exam, because it is certainly acheivable..

| It's a Comptia certificaion. Means that you know the hardware of a computer. Any hardware that you find in a pc, you have to be able to troubleshoot, replace, fix it. It also has a software component which is easy if you have your MCSE.

| I passed this exam last Friday. It took me 3.5hrs to finish because I read through each question carefully. I didn't allow any one section to be toasted.
There was no indication whether you are doing good or bad during the process until you click on the 'End' button in the last exam. So exciting! | |

I only had about two weeks to study for, and that was only reading material that I could find on the web. But it was free so i am not phased. I did not expect to pass it, I just hoped that I would. | So guys (and girls if any?). I went, I saw it and I failed. It was just to much for me.
I found a time to be a biggest problem by taking this exam. After all it wasn't so difficult at all. Many of questions were basic things. Still you don't know it before you red question and saw all exhibitions. Many of the questions had two exhibitions per case. You have to be very concertrated. Otherwise you lose the point of the whole case. I wish everybody good luck. You 'll need it. Cheers. | |
