Any good study guides I should be using for this wonderful exam?
Has anyone been using TroyTec for their study guide?
Any word yet if Microsoft is going to extend the deadline, like they did last year for the TCP/IP Cert?

Thanx

My favorite book on the subject is "Windows 2000 MCSE Study System" by Alan Carter.
It puts all four test into one book by functionality.
It also has labs you can do after each chapter.
He has exellent ways of explaining the material as well.
I am using this with CBT nuggets and various notes. I am scheduled for the 28th.

Hi,

What do you think of the CBTnuggets? I am using them also. I am not sure if I am a better video learner or book learner. However, I read very slowly and since the time is short and I am really behind, I thought that the videos would keep me on track.

The problem is, If I am using them late at night, like right now, I sometimes find myself dozing off a bit.

I am still working my way through server. I hope that I can get it all accomplished in time. I also like Carter's books but I heard that the one for Windows 2000 was weak in Network Infrastructure and Active Diretory.

I have that book anyway, I just wish I had more time to read the whole thing.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

As far as I know he isn't weak in AD. He goes pretty deep into GPO's and everything.
The only way I can really get a lot out of the book is to open a notebook and take notes on what I'm reading. Otherwise I forget everything I read. But everyone is different.
You are right about the CBT Nuggets, it is a lot easier to watch them in the morning.
