Hey guys,

just dropped here at the 240 forum after a long long time. Seems like the fravo guys are carrying out a marketing campaign by praising their products in disguise.

You can pass this exam in easy methods. Simply follow the below given links and you have done it. I've personally used http://mcpquestionbank.com. Try their demos. They've got excellent software combined with a perfect pool of the real questions & answers.

Ans plz, do not call me a marketing guy. I've got no time to be a good person to any company. Its just to save all our dudes from falling for tricky stuff.

Please tell me that you really realize that IP address you listed as a "resource", isn't valid? You're just testing us...right?

That ip address is 209.207.167.177.

I dunno why it changes there.

Jack,

Congratulations on passing 70-240, you must be stoked.

I have sat one 2k exam so far 70-219 which was very different to previous NT4.0 style of exams.

Is 70-240 case study based or similar to NT4.0 style exams ?

Best Regards

This is not to offend anyone that might be a little protective with MCPQUESTIONBANK. I was kinda excited seeing there was a free bank of questions for each of the core tests as well as the 240 itself. I downloaded the test engine. Installed it. Dl the tests. Installed the first one and FAIL!! Runtime 482 error. Tried a few more. Same problem. Tried an uninstall and reinstall. Failed again. I have 6 machines here at my home lab. Tested with 2 more machines. FAIL.

You might think twice about spinning your wheels (study time), getting this to work. I know nothing about this company but "we" are all in this together, so I just want to give a heads up regarding possible times and anyone wasting their precious time. A couple of the other links are good. Nothing personal.. Thanks for your time.

HOw was it different? More exhibits? Or different kinds of questions all together? (like fill in the blank, matching, ???). Anyone care to comment on 70-240 -- are the questions different than the NT4 track exams? (different in the sense of how they're presented and how you answer).

For all your queries.....

its a combination of the core exams. But it focused more on active directory and some tough issues. Its split into 4 parts for all the four core exams. The server and pro part a piece of cake. Network infra part had very little to do with subnets though had a few, but not as many as expected. Just one Q on wins. More were on DNS etc.

The active directory part was the toughest.

For the guy who is telling me about errors in the mcpquestionbank software......

why don't you contact their support. I'm not the one who will analyze your error numbers and give you correct solutions. In fact i think that you are trying to put down a good company. R u their competitor?? Me or my friends never had a problem using and i'm sure that some else like freak would like to comment on this.

I have made a request for MCP to correct his post attacking me. He has not done so. I have sent an email to the moderator to edit this post appropriately and he has not done so either. This is a reply to MCP and whoever else. Take a look at the reply post I made. It did not address any one individual. It was addressed to anyone who might run into the same problem I had on 3 separate machines. It was just a heads up not to bang your head against the wall "if your installs continuously failed. Nothing more than that. It was just peer to peer helpful suggestion. I am not with Fravo. I am not with anyone that sells tests, posts tests, or offers test. (period) Who I am is a programmer for 11 years + and a System Engineer for 3 with a large company hosting 900 + NT boxes around the globe. I am someone just like most the rest of you who is trying to get all the time out of a 24 hour day to both support a family and study for my 70-240. I resent MCP for starting a slander on my character with no basis or cause. MCP's "Me and my friends" statement (great grammer) has me baffled as well. Does this statement mean that if MCP and friends can install any software with no problems, the rest of the world must be having user problems. Finally, people take a look at a post I made to "Scored 960" in the 70-215 forum. It is the last reply. The only thing MCP did was prove that reply in Scored 960 wrong. Good job Mr. Rocket Scientist. ..and by the way MCP, I did send an email to that software company that night requesting some assistance. Still no reply as of today this time.

Just though i'd clear another one of your doubt. How do u think i can call exam 240 similar to the core exams ??

I'm extensively into certification training and i've appeared for over 29 certification exams. Howz that ?? Before i can teach anything, i needed to have a look at both, the acceleration exam as well as the cores..... i've taken both. Sounds weird, but i've to do it for the sake of my job.

Luv n luck

To all readers and Jack,
I guess I got a bit too much on the defensive side too. Maily cause of this 70-240 test coming up and "yes I am stressed". Passing the 240 will mean 5 tests for me since I will pursue the MCDBA. It counts as Core 4 and one elective. Anyway, as I look at the beginning of this post it was meant with very good intentions from Jack and well taken too. I might have been the first one to zoom out to MCPQUESTIONBANK to get some additional study questions.

So Jack, thanks for the great help and apology well taken. Accept mine too for being so quick to jump on the "band wagon" myself.

Now the fantastic news about MCPQUESTIONBANK that will help us as Jack initially stated. I just got a response this morning via email and here it is.

"Hello Steve,

This is George Fernando replying to your mail. We had a few complaints about the printer error from our clients and were working on it. Well, the solution has been found and you can directly implement it from our web site. Please install the patch file to your system and overwrite all the files that you are prompted to. You should not have any problems running our product demos. However, if the problem does persist or you have any other problem, you are always welcome to reach us at support@mcpquestionbank
.com
.

Printer patch: http://www.mcpquestionbank.com/downloads/patch.zip

If you have any further questions, please feel free to respond to this e-mail message.

Regards
George Fernando
(Sr. EDP Executive)"

I know my last couple posts have been long posts - sorry

..and to Jack, again thanks for the additinal 240 prep assistance. All of us here thank you I am sure.
