| This one is going good so far. Lot's of case studies.. More like 216 but just a bit deeper. Looking to take it sometime in August but so much things is poppin' up. I might have to decide on a date in September..
Is any one doing this exam soon, if any how is it going?

| Depends on what you mean by "soon". I am contemplating taking it within the next 6 months, should my schedule be a little less congested.

| This was my least favorite test of all. it was also luckily my last one (for now anyways, until i upgrade to 2003). I had even seen most of the senerio's and it was still hard. Im just glad its done.. Study lots of scenarios, all your basic 2000 stuff also. DNS is big. Set up your home lab as 2 sites, 2 domains same forest, 2 domains same forest different tree, etc. Know how to read the scenario, i came up with a way that works for me but id think its different for everyone. Know 'x administrations x operations'. (decentralized vs centralied). Know the key words for the 2. (seperate password policies means 2 domain, we want to control everything from boston (wherever) means centralized admins. Our IT staff's in the regional offices just take care of our given policies (cent admin, decent op). You can go back to the case, but i think diagramming it out helps. If you see apples, write it down, novell, write it down (protocols), how many users per location. If you see numbers by building that looks like they will ask you to do the subnetting, they well. Know basic subnetting. Know whas CIDR and VLSM mean (and bootp capable). WHen you rad the interviews, those 2 guys will answer a few of the questions right there, see what they see as the problem or necesity, it will be asked.
