I just passed this test the other day. There was plenty of time. It took me about 2 and a half hours. The key is to take your time,

You'll probably find the average time for this exam is between 2 - 3 hrs. The art to reading the "stories" is not to get lost in all the rubbish that MS puts in them.

I found it easier to go to a question - read it look at the anwsers then go to the "stories" for confirmation of the answer!!

Thanks Wbafrank, Denvin, & Hachy

Which book and practise exams did you use? Was MS Press book helpful?

Help!!

I wrote 221 this week. I did not quite pass even after studying may hours. I found the test to be a bit confusing.

No calculators were allowed (and I did not see one available in the testing software) so how do you quickly determine the large subnetting questions?

How do you determine the answer to the following question?

What r the 2 most critical problems in the curent network?
a) too much downtime
b) not scalable enough
c) requires upgrading
d) difficult to manage & monitor

Having read the reviews on the MS Training Kit for this book (all 1 star). It is the only exam I did not use MS Press. I used the MS Readiness Review book instead and (Book and CD-ROM full of questions) used MS site for further study material you are directed to from the book.

Sybex have a book but I don't know what it is like have a look on www.sybex.com
