Can anyone tell me about any resource that provides strategies for attacking the design exam format. It is one thing to learn about "Active Directory". But, what concerns me is the format of the exam. Those who have come before must have developed techniques for how to deal with the format. I don't think that I am simply supposed to go in and read some super lengthy case history and casually answer 10 questions, do it 4 times, and go home. There must be some method to this madness. Any help would be appreciated.

The case is broken out into several interviews, like 'CEO', 'CIO', 'Network Admin', etc. The 'All' tab rolls these into one.

First, do a quick read on the case study, using the 'All' tab. Make note of particular issues that stand out as design considerations. Don't take such detailed notes that you are re-writing the case, as much of the case information is superfluous to the questions. The most important thing is that you know where to find the information within the case, that is pertinant.

Now go to the questions, refer back to the 'All' tab in the case study, if you need to review something to answer the questionsl.

There are several free trial practice exams you can download to get a feel for this one.
Transcender, Techskills, Examsimulators. It would be best to work with these so you can get accustomed to the interactive question format which is more challenging than the actual case study format itself. There is at least one per case study of place-drop, connect, and reorder type interactive questions.

Good luck!!!

Everything we do is to support the storage, security, and processing of information. Ultimately the value we strive to protect is the value of the information we are charged to process and guard. A company can survive a complete loss of its computer hardware infrastructure. But, it would be hard pressed to survive a loss of its information. Information is an extraordinarily precious commodity. The richest man in the world sells information, not oil or real estate.
