r1ick,

39 questions, 4 case studies... A lot of new concepts, and a new style of exam.

I've got 833... and used Transcenders, and Readiness Review mainly.

Read chapters 9 and 10 of the Deployment Guide.

How did you find the Transcenders in relation to the exam, relatively similar in style? I was caught a bit unawares on one exam when the Transcenders were nothing like the exam whereas others have been similar in style. Don't particularly want to get a surprise when I get in there.

kopman,

One case study on transcenders v5, was very similar to one that I found on the exam.
I like Transcenders because they always gave good and reasonable explanations about the choices. Even better than readiness review from Microsoft Press.

In the other side, I found readiness review more realistic. Both form a good pair. But, Chapter 9 and 10 of the Deployment guide is the most important sources for 219. Read carefully, and try to figure out how they relate to scenario based questions. It was a dificult exercise for me, but the reward is astonishingly.

Thanx Djalminha

I have read chapter 9 and half of 10 so far and aim to read both of them 2-3 times. I have the MSPress readiness review book as well so it looks like I should be fine.

The scary thing is I'm actually finding the information and case studies interesting

How long do they give you for the exam?

bradsdad,

240 minutes plus 30 minutes of time extension for non-native English speaker living in non-English-speaking country.

Jeff_black gave me this advice: "Don't spend too much time reading the case study. Take notes from the most important info, review the case when necessary." For me this tip make all the diference in the exam.
