Author Question about the 70-219 Exam

For those who have taken the 70-219 exam, I have a question, so bear with me if I get long winded:

I understand the format of the exam. 4 cases consisting of 7-12 questions per case. Let's say you have Case 1 eg: (ABC Toys, Inc.) You get the long-winded thesis about the company and start answering the questions for that case. Let's say you aren't sure about question 3, then you finish the rest of the questions for that case, maybe "marking" some along the way.

Can you move on to the next case, or do you have to finish the present case before moving on?

Ok, so you move on to Case 2 eg: (XYZ Electronics) You again get the long-winded storyline about the company and proceed to answer those sets of questions. Then you move on and so on.....

Now you are finished with all the cases, but you have several answers "marked" from various cases.

Can you choose any case to go back to modify or review your answers?

I hope I explained myself well enough. Anybody with some input, please let me know. I just want to know so that I guage my practice in the same manner as the real exam will be presented. Thanks for the help.

You could move back to questions as MS lets you review your answers. I wouldn't suggest it though. Get one case out of the way at once. Then proceed in order. You have 3 hours to complete the exam. So there is no hurry.

If I remember correctly, once you have completed answering all the questions on any Microsoft exam, you are taken to a review screen. Any question or questions you may have marked will be indicated by a "red checkmark", and also, any question or questions you may have inadvertently left unanswered will be indicated with an "incomplete". All questions complete and left unmarked are indicated with an "X". You may choose, at that point, to go back to the questions you have marked. You can check for incomplete questions and go back to any that you may have inadvertently left incomplete. Finally, if you like, you can choose to simply review all the exam questions on an individual one to one basis.

For me, it never fails, I always find a couple I inadvertently left incomplete, usually as I'm clicking the end test button. Fortunately for me, there's a confirmation that pops up just in time to save my neck!

Thanks Cross and Zaraspook

Just wanted to confirm that if I left a case to move on to another, that I had the option to go back and review or change an answer. Didn't know if it was like the A+ exam, where you had to answer the question in order to move on. Typically I don't really need to change any answers. If after reading the question a couple times and reading all the answers, I do not have a solution, I will mark it. If I answer it, but am not sure of the answer, I again mark it. After the exam, I preview all my marked questions and spend more time with them to submit an answer. Finally after making my selections (and removing the check marks) I will skim through the entire test once more, then click "end test". I close my eyes and wait about 5 seconds to "hopefully" open them to "CONGRATULATIONS". I know i'm weird, but I have done that for every exam and it is sort of like a superstition now. Sorta like a hockey goalie who skates out to his net, but skates over the lines, not to touch them. Speaking of hockey, can't wait till the season starts. LET'S GO PENS!!!!
