Which Design Elective to Take?
|
|
|
| I would appreciate responses regarding which design elective to take for the MCSE cert.
I've passed 210, 215, 217,and 218 ("boning-up" to try 216). Combined with A+ and Net+ to achieve MCSA certification two weeks ago. Now planning for design elective.
I complete the class from a MS certified training provider using MOC plus study & hands-on to prepare for exams. I need to choose which class & exam to register for. Looks like can choose from:
1.) 70-219 Designing AD Infrastructure
2.) 70-220 Designing a secure W2K Network
or
3.) 70-221 Designing a W2K Network Services Infrastructure
Ideally I would be working in the field and work duties would direct me to the most valuable elective. That is not my situation so I ask for your recommendations. | |

| As you haven't done 216 - I would suggest that you stick with 219. | |

| I agree with wbafrank. I wouldn't attempt 221 without having completed the 216. | |

| As well, taking the 220 w/o 216 is difficult as a lot of the info on security protocols is introduced in 216. 219 is an easy move from where you are at. |
