This one has me round the bend....

I was reading up on Darkvader's braindump and came across this question:

Adatum Corporation is considering using the domain names listed below in a design that uses only the default Windows 2000 Trusts.

Identify the Kerberos re-ferral path that is traversed when a user in newyork.west.adatum.com accesses resources located in sydney.east.adatum.com. Move the appropriate domain names to the trust path list and arrange them in correct order. (Use only domain names that apply.)

Trust Path List Possible Domain Names

(1)-adatum.com

(2)-west.adatum.com

(3)-east.adatum.com

(4)-newyork.west.adatum.com

(5)-london.west.adatum.com (X)

(6)-sanjose.west.adatum.com(X)

(7)-sydney.east.adatum.com

(8)-bangkok.east.adatum.com (X)

(9)-newdehli.east.adatum.com (X)

To make a long story short, Troytec says the answer is:
2,3,7

but Darkvader's braindump says the answer is:
4,2,1,3,7

My problem is that I think Troytec got this one wrong, the question tells us that 'Default windows 2000 trusts' are being used, which means NO shortcut trusts (shortcut trusts are made manually, not done by default), but troytec look like they were under the impression that shortcut trust are being used ?

Am I correct in saying that darkvader's answer is correct and troytec got it wrong?

Yes you are right. It starts in its own domain then walks up the tree and down the respective domains, one at a time
Checked in MOC material

Confusion?? Headaches?? Problems??

That's what braindumps cause.

But yeah, the Dark Vader answer seems to be right.

Word of Caution here....As PotatoHead said:

Braindumps can get you all twisted up. When in doubt go look it up in a trusted resource.
