| Hi there
seems to be first job contains a lot of problems>
one of our staff tried to access his files which saved in the DC 2003 server, and he couldn't access some of the files saved in the same folder and can access some of them but can't resave them, getting Read Only message.
after inspect the folder I found that the user has Modify permission.
but some and not all of the files have no permission totally>
even me with the administration privileges couldn't change permissions. | |

| Go to the root folder of his documents. Go to the Security tab, hit the advanced button, go to the Owner tab, and take ownership of all files and folders.
Once you have ownership, give the end-user full control of the files and folders.
Hope that helps.
(Also check for viruses) |
