Hi guys! I am new to this site. However i am working on my mcse. I have passed pro, and server. I took 217 a few weeks ago and *FAILED*. The study material that i used on the first few test was TESTKING. It was working so i used it again for 217. When i took 217 the questions from testking looked nothing like what i had studied for, accept for a few. Long story short. I have lost my faith in testking and i need some new software to study. All help is greaty appreciated.

Well I wouldn't rely completely on testking or the likes. Ya it will get you the pass, but in the long run you will be out.

I would suggest reading you main 217 book (ie Sybex/MSpress) or whatever you use. Then follow up with another other reading ie examcram books/whitepages if need be. Make sure you know the and the material. Then read the material again and practice with a test lab as much as possible.

Here is what I do.
Read the Sybex front to cover.
Reread while completeing the exceries.
Read the ExamCram book/s I have
Read/complete excerises in MSPress book All in one guide. (has all 210, 215, 216, 217)

Normally after all that I'm felling pretty good about signing up. I'll use transcender a day or so before the exam just to get use to the style and type of questions asked.

Whole process. Month/Month 1/2. But when you come out you will know alot more then testking can give you.

Fugaz13...

Your reply is very thorough and generous.

If you follow this advice, which you should, you will have no need for Testking.
