| Very cool collection of links. A great lab is to go through an ADMT scenario. | |

| Talk about your quick reply!!!
I need to setup a lab. There are at least a dozen PC's (at least 2 laptops), numerous switches, KVM's w/cables, 4-5 21" monitors, assorted 17" monitors and much more hardware here. None of it mine, my out of country roomy who never uses it (roundtuit project). I would setup a lab but we are cramped for space.
I plan on buying a laptop and installing 2K server on it and play with it.
Cheers,

| One thing I do for tight space is to set up the servers and only deal with them through terminal services client. Once you get them set up they take up as much space as they did before, except you need a power cord and a network cable to each one.
Next I want to try VMWare or Virtual PC. You can run several 'machines' on one computer and they all interact as if they are seperate machines on a network. Need more muscle that any of the boxes I have now, though. Best of luck, have fun! | |
