| This came from the question of the day site and I find it incorrect..
You are the network infrastructure administrator of your company. You are trying to manipulate the objects in your Active Directory. How do you change the GUID of an object you created an hour ago (choose all that apply):
A) by renaming the object
B) by editing the registry of the server the object resides
C) by editing the registry of the server the object logs into
D) by modifying the object's binary codebase
Correct answer is: A
What do you all think because ...
Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) is a unique 128-bit number assigned to objects when they are created. GUID never changes - even if the object is renamed. |
