Author logon scripts

I'm trying to use logon scripts for my company. I created a simple batch file with three net use commands one for a shared folder named share one for a department share and one that I used for a home folder with a net use command with \\servername\user$\%username% every drive maps work with no problems except the home folder one. But it works with maybe 20% of my clients. It creates their home folder. Most of the websites I go to for this info do not really help.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I don't believe that the net use command will actually create the %username% folder, only connect to it if it exists. You might detect system error 53, network path not found error when this line of script runs. That is the result I found when entering the commands manually on the command line. %username% connected to my folder on the server, but joe.blow generated the error as the folder does not already exist.
