Hey everyone,

I have a question for you. Here it is. We are looking for IPsec communications and EFS to attomactly encrypt users files. NOw my thing is can we just set up Group Policy objects to accomplish this. Another question. How can they share files if they are using EFS. Say I make a doc drizzits.doc now how would I share that if EFS is automaticly encrypting everything.

THanks

The only way to decrypt files that are encrypted is by the user presenting the encryption key of the user that encrypted it or by presenting the encryption key of the designated recovery agent. In other words the person who encrypted the file or the administrator. That is why EFS is great except for file sharing. Basically, what you want to do cannot be done, as indicated by every document on EFS.
