1. Congrats on passing the first tests.
2. Yes, the MS books are all I used and they were right on the money imho. Be strong in GPOs and when to use a domain as opposed to an OU. You will do great.
3. Let us know when we can help

Just took the test on Friday (passed thank god!) It was not to bad, but be prepared for long winded questions. Know your GPO's, I had about 15 questions on that alone.
I also used Transcenders, great tool.

Freak is right, GPO+RIS take up 50% in most of the test engine!

Hey iheath,

I took and passed the exam this past Saturday. It was long, but fairly straightforward.

The only questions that were on the exam that I did not see much of in the transcenders 217 series dealt with roaming profiles. If you have already passed pro and server you should be in a good shape for those.

Best of luck

I agree with myotechie.. this exam is not too hard, quite straightforward except for the very long questions.. but it all depends on your preparation..if you are well prepared then you shouldn't worry too much.. the MS Press book is OK but you can try to find some other books just to reinforce your understanding.. hope this helps

I agree with jakob79. It is nice to get different author's perspectives on AD.

I was pretty nervous for this exam so I read:

MS Press: thorough, but dry
Sybex: easy read, but lacking info
Examcram: good for review

I probably could have done it without examcram, but at 300 pages it is a great review the week before the exam.
