| A last minute exam revision question for me to clear up:
Zone types:
Primary Zone = First instance of the zone
Secondary Zone = Copy of the Primary
Cach Zone = Read only copy of Primary /Secondary
Is a secondary zone read only along with the primary?
A link to clear this up would be just as helpful.
Thanks in advance.

| Primary – The only writable copy that is replicated to the Secondaries.
Secondary – A read only copy of the primary zone obtained through replication with the Primary.
Cache – (a.k.a. Caching Only) – Consist of cached successful and negative resolves. Usually set up as a forwarding server. Resolves come from resolver cache or forwarder; reboots cause loss of cache.

| For clearing that up, had a post session with freak earlier and I was correct but it makes sense the way you explained it as well, thanks for the help.
