I have read somewhere that you can use either internet explorer or netscape navigator (Not to alienate anyone) to browse active directory, is this true or just urban myth?

If anyone can tell me how it would be a great help as when I try the browser returns an error when I try to use ntds: as the protocol. Do you use ldap: and is there a syntax structure that mush be adhered to?

My thanks in advance.

If you type in "ldap://server name" into the address bar then it will bring up the find people box. Of course substitute "server name" for your appropriate server.

I have tried that but it says unable to connect, I thought that you would get a tailored browser windows in the same style as the printers page but obvioulsy not.

Thanks for the help anyway.
