And today's poser is ....

Q48. How do you enable Windows 9x clients to have limited Active Directory integration with the Windows 2000 Directory service?

A. By installing Dsclient.exe

B. By installing Clientds.exe

C. By installing ADpromo.exe

D. It is not possible to allow Windows 9x clients to have limited AD integration with the Windows 2000 directory service.

Yep, it's A. Presently using it on 60 Win98 clients and there's also a version for NT4 workstation; using it on 30 clients.

Pick 'D'. Can't imagine why would MS designers want to limit Win9x m/s ? It's suppose to integrage legacy m/cs into AD. One guess would probably be security of some sort.

Correct Answers: A

The Directory Services Client for Windows 9x can be installed by running Dsclient.exe from the \Clients\Win9x folder on the Windows 2000 Server CD-ROM.
