| It was harder than I expected but it was still fair and passable. Thanks WBA for your good posts. You must have a really good memory because very similar questions that you have posted were on my exam.

Think I might rethink the exam strategy, after reading Wbafanks article. Probably will go for 217 instead.
Now I'm going to get my hands dirty-set up 2 DNS servers at home, work on the hands on , until I' know exactly what I 'm doing, and do 216 last. 216 had really stalled the momentum, have to kick-up the momentum again. | |

Glad my questions helped. None of the questions I have posted were taken from my exam but there is only a certain number of ways you can ask a question and if you know the MS way the rest is easy!! | |

As for the toughness of the exam. I think it probably easier than the 216 because IMHO the scenerios were not as complex and solutions were preatty staight forward.
After taking 4 M$ tests and looking back on them all the tests were very challenging. Because you really have to study hard for each area and become proficient. You cannot just walk into one of these unless and pass them without study time behind you. Because you will fail.
That bieng said there are those on the front edge of technology and have the good fortune who to work with it everyday. I believe they could pass with very little or no study but for the rest of us it is an uphill fight. I envy them.
For me now with my exit from the military on hold for an undetermined amount of time the MCSE is more a personal goal than anything else. I leave my desk job now to lead a platoon. So study time will shrink and go away but nothing worthwhile is easy.
