Q14. How would you defrag the Active Directory database without using Ntdsutil? (Choose all that apply)

B. Run the Esentutl utility with /s
C. Run the Esentutl utility with /d

I know that AD database would be in exclusive mode if you were online, so DS restore mode is a must. | |

| A and C are right as any type of restore or activity done with the AD database, you must enter in AD Restore Mode. The Esentutil is what you use to defrag the .DIT database. You can acces this utility through NTDSUTIL.

| Ah...wondered why I overlooked "A"- get into DS restore mode, before I can entered the "C" command !!!! A really bad miss ...so close yet so far ! |
