| Take them both, thats what I'm doing. Since the designing tests go hand in hand with their corresponding regular test, all you need to do is brush up on a couple of new topics and you should be set. Since you've already taken 70-216 I, personally, would jump right into 70-221 and then go back to 70-217 and 70-219. I personally found 70-219 to be fairly straight forward and nothing really complicated, and I suspect that 70-221 will be the same way. I'll have to see I guess.
Yes, 70-218 does count towards the MCSE.

LOL!!! I know. I'm not afraid of them anymore. Like I said before 70-219 is really straight forward, and I passed it no problem a couple of weeks after 70-217.

so 219 is not more dificult than 216 and 217??????

| Yes they are design exams but this simply means applying your knowledge in a more practical situation from 216 and 217 to 221 & 219!
"Design" is or can be part of MCSE.
True Slinky, I am also sitting these in 3wks....
217
219
221 | |

is the diference bewteen mcsa and mcse: design!

| Not necessarily ... it really depends what you want to choose as electives. For the MCSE upgrade I am doing as standard advised from my training company:
I am doing 2 design exams and Active Directory which plays a big part.
So in other words, it can be but doesnt NEED to be. |
