| Well I finally found the time to get back to studying after things have returned to normal at work. I must say I was really looking forward to taking this exam! It was a great test. 63 questions, 175mins, pass/fail of course. Took me a good 100+ minutes to finish this exam, but I tend to read through questions 2-3 times to make sure I don't miss anything. I know AD pretty well & really nailed this exam. Lots of GPO, AD Site/Subnet, AD Replication, delegation, and "roles" questions. I was very impressed by this exam, it was actually very fun & challenging. I'm actually looking forward to 70-216 next! | |

| Thanks. Good luck to all of you in your certification endeavors as well!
Zaraspook: Thanks, from what I hear 216 can be a bear. I'll look forward to taking that one. I'm glad I was finally able to hop back on the certification express.
Tech Ranger: I mostly used hands on to prepare. I have a mini network setup in my basement that I can practice different scenarios. Plus I work with Windows 2000 every day at work, so that doesn't hurt. I use Microsoft Technet, Whitebooks, and MOC's for reading material. Also, my employer provides me with Smart Certifiy Direct CBT's. They're not bad. The nice thing about them is you're not just reading & answering questions, but you perform all the steps too. Definitely nice for anyone without a network to practice on.

| Great work Shark!
The CBTs are a nice break from the text books - I used TestOut CBTs. The instructor gets a bit much after a while but the interactive labs are great! And you can't beat the home lab setup when you want to try out the exercises in the MOC's.
Best to you on the 216 - after 216 which design elective are you going after? You might want to go straight from 216 to 221 - same concepts.

| Thanks for the tip Pavlov. I was thinking 219 or 220, but maybe I will do 221. | |
