On Cramsession the info is as follows:

Exam #: 70-217
Status: Active
Time Limit: 195 min.
Avg. Time: 85 min.
Passing Score: Pass/Fail
# of Questions: 63
Format: Form-based
Difficulty: 2
Certifications: MCP, MCSE

There is no "passing score" for any of the Microsoft Exams anymore. People are rating it 2 (out of 5). Also, probably the # of questions is 50 instead of 63, as this same error was made for 70-218. Maybe someone can clarify the # of questions.

i know that no is a passing score.... but virtually YES. for exapmple: passing score on 70216 is 620. you donīt see the score but you now that you need 620 points of 1000 to pass the exam. this what i mean. this what i require...

Oh I see what you're saying. Well, for all we know they may have changed the passing score as well but, ya, I believe the passing mark was about 630-650 - not too high.

This is no walk in the park either and is quickly earning the title of "mini-beast". Get out those official MOC's and do the hands on exercises in the book - you have to do these labs to be successful on this test. Some other good links to read are:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tr...rt1/dsgch07.asp
and
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tr...rt3/chapt-9.asp

These will help with both 217 and 219 - which should be studied together. They cover the same material and the only difference is 219 is a design exam which means it's case study format.

Study hard and you'll beat this one too
