Author Access denied for active directory sinchr.

I have a DC that was disconnected from the network during 5 months, now that i connect it back on the network, i received the mensage of access denied when i try to make the ad replication.

Try running dcpromo and demoting it first. Join it back to the network and then dcpromo to create a DC again - then let it replicate. If you've got another server running AD then you shouldn't lose anything by trying that and whatever is on it is 5 mos. old anyway, right?

Double check that the account you are using is still a member of the Domain Admins group.
