Just passed 70-216, onto 70-217 now!

| Hi,
I passed 70-216 today, and I'm going to take a week off before I start studying for 70-217!
Some tell me that it's not as difficult as 70-216, is that true?
Any advice before I start studying would be so helpful!
Thanx,
Ray. | |

| in my opinion, the hardest test of the track is now behind you. Here is a little bit of advice: prepare for the 217 and the 219 at the same time as they cover the same material. I also recommend taking the two tests either the same day or within a week of each other while it is all still fresh in your memory... | |

| I agree with freak (so, what else is new ). However, I don't think you'd want to take them both in the same day anymore. 219 has changed and is now alloted 315 minutes! That's a long day at the test center.
Congrats on defeating 216 and best to you on the 217.

| that's a good point, although I do not remember *ever* taking that long for a test! | |

| Thanks for the advise. I'm in the same boat. Just got my MCSA and I'm studying for 217 and because of your advise I will also focus on 219.
Thanks again!!! | |

| you're welcome. Glad I could be of help
Best of luck with those tests!
|
| Taking 70-219 isn't manditory is it?
I was thinking of taking either 70-220 or 70-221
|
| Now thinking about it, 70-219 seems a good one to take as well!
I'm confused! I want to base my MCSE on security, any tips?
|
| No, you don't have to take the 219 test. But I certainly recommend it. It's a great test in terms of network consulting.
Security is also a great track, but it holds little value in the face of a real security track like the CISSP for example... |
