got 16 weeks left!--MCSA?

| just started class for this, and 70-215...same semester, hope they go along a little bit...
how hard is it, or was it compared to others? ive got my Net+ and 2000pro so far...Pro was really tough!
any insight is great!

P.s. Anyone know if this will be in the MCSA at all? since i think maybe 2? of the 4 arent even released yet? My teacher claims its been rumored...but nothing on paper... | |

In my opinion you will find Server a lot easier than Professional.

Well you can do this two ways:
1. Take MS Exams 210, 215, 218 and 216 or
2. MS Exams 210, 215, 218 and CompTIA exams A+ (Core & OS) and Network+
The 218 exam is due to go live this month (even though MS are not bring out a book until Mar!!)
Registering with CompTIA for those who hold A+ and Network+ begins in Feb. | |

| are you going for the mcse also? .. if so you might want to do
215,216,217,218, then whatever electives .. i agree Server was easier than Pro ..

| Do the A+, 216 & 218, then the other M$ exams as you see fit!

| well I have 210 2kpro, and Net+..right now im in 215 server, and 217 active directory ( i have to take this to graduate... so really im just trying to get something besides 10 MCPs! so AD is just part of the core 4 for the mcse right now...nothing else? | |

I have 19 MCP's as you put it - but if I remember correctly - 13 of them gave me MCSE, MCSD and MCDBA!! | |

70-215 is EASIER than 70-210. That is my take on those two exams.
215 is not that hard. | |

| I dont understand microsoft at all...so am i right by saying, you CANNOT have, or get a MCSA right now? They send me all this crap about the first 5000 MCSA's get a special piece of paper or whatever, and all this news on the MCSA...but its not even available now! What a crock, they are messed up!
Oh well, thats Bill for us! TRying to think of other ways to get more $$$ | |

| Its just very sad that they want people to have the MCSA fast and there is no textbook on it yet. All the books stores have titles with "NOT YET PUBLISHED". How are we supposed to take an exam without preparing for it? |
