Hi guys,

I want to get a mcsa2k certification and after that go for mcse2k

i have passed these exams in the following order: 210-215-218

i was thinking of 216. Is this a logical choice ?

also, i don't have reallife experience.

my average study time for a exam is one month.

my last score was 944 for 70-218

Yes, you should be able to handle it and you're going to need it as it is a required exam for the MCSE. I would probably look at spending more than a month to prepare for it as you need to know a lot about a lot of topics. It took me 3 months, but I probably overprepared for it, but everyone is different

Best of luck in your studies.

Hi spid,

damn, but the book 216 has less pages than all the other required exams

but is it smart to do 216 before 217.

i don't have reallife experience with AD, thatswhy i asked if it is smart to do 216 before 217

It's really up to the individual on what to take first. I don't feel taking 217 before 216 makes you any more prepared for the 216. In fact, my preparations for the 216 helped make studying for the 217 that much easier.

I went 216, 221, 217 to finish.

thanks Spid

that helps alot

will go for 216 first then!

by the way, does the 218 count as an elective for mcse?

or is it just needed to become MCSA?

The 218 is required for the MCSA and it is a general elective for the MCSE.

Good luck!

216 is a great choice, study hard, read 2 or 3 books, and do a lot of practice, you can buy 3 or 4 pcs, and set 1 up as a server where you can get hands on expirience.

good luck
