| I will slay this beast in 3 weeks time. I will slay this beast......thinking positive is a good thing all right. I got this one in 3 weeks and I got a lot to cover. But at the end of the day if I ain't ready, I will have to re-schedule.....

| Just to add.....if you are not confident about an exam reschedule if you have to. These exams are expensive.....$245 Australian dollars. If I fail one, my company dosen't reimburse me. We all want to get to the end of the MCSE road as fast as we can...but sometimes we have to hold back when we aren't sure.
But at the same time if you do fail...it can be gut wrenching. Backed in '99 I failed Windows 98 (suprisingly hard exam) and it hurt. I was new to IT and my company (then) forced me to sit it when I wasn't ready. I started the job on a 3 month contract and they said in the last month if I don't pass the Windows 98 exam they won't renew my contract. Even though I did fail, they did renew my contract ( Bastards.) But because the managers had no idea about what it takes to pass one of these exams they looked down on me because I had failed.
Epecially if your paying for the exam yourself think about my infamous quote.
(Failing is not an option. It's an expensive one.)
Anyway that company was F**ed up. |
