| Dang this exam is kicking my XXX.
So far I have passed 70-210, 70-215, 70-217, and 70-218.
Not exactly the easiest route I choose, but that was the order in which I took the classes.
I have 70-220 left and my elective exam is the 70-221.
Anyway are there are practice exams that more closely match the real exam? I am trying to decide between the bigger .com test sites like cert21, testking. . .
I have a exam pack from testking that has about 299 questions but I need to try a different study method other than reading the question and remembering the answer.

| I have not seen any practice tests that resemble the real exam.
Perhaps, you need to brush up on the functionality of minor details? I would suggest reading the Help contents.
What topics are you not sure of?

| testking is notorious for having wrong answers. They literally get their questions off of braindumps and turn around and sell them without checking for correct answers.
The last version they came out with contained 18 questions with no answers listed.
I would try some other site.

| You said you took classes, didn't the school give any test prep or sim exams with the classes most schools that I have seen do.
A couple of web sites that may help
Measure Up
Transcender
Self Test
I have had good luck with them in the past.
And stay away from brain dumps like testking
as they say you get what you pay for.

| Transcender is by far the best bet. Exam Sims are very realistic, but remember that no-one knows what q's will be asked on the day. The trick is - KNOW YOUR STUFF !!! and also remember that MS don't ask trick questions.
I took my 70-216 last week, and passed first shot, all down to using th OS and studying.
Global Knowlege books ISBN ref 0-07-212383-4 are as good as any that you'll find.
Forget boot camp sh111 as they'll teach you knowt..
Good Luck

| Perhaps you need less study and more hands on.
If you are not actively working in the field, then you will need lots, and I mean lots, of lab or simulation work to impress the skills into your thinking.
216 is very broad in scope and covers Microsoft's implementations of basic network services.
If you have a lot of other experience and this is your first run at Microsoft, then you will need to learn to think the way Microsoft expects.

| This test has been out for a while. I've seen books for next to nothing! The Sybex (a top notch publisher!) book for the 70-216 was on a dollar table at my local bookstore.
Get yourself a book and sit down and read it! Relax and let the info soak in. If possible, try some hands on. For me, the most confusing thing is the goofy way that DNS and DHCP and AD work together. It can take a while to get it.
Hands-on is also great if you can get it. Good luck!
