| I PASSED!!!!! I am now an MCSA.
The exam was tough, I have never felt as prepared and confident for an MS exam, and yet so overwhelmed after 30 questions. I think I must have had over 10 blue borders, one of them they gave me twice, about 30 multiple answer questions and 20 normal answer questions. Loads on RRAS, CA's with IPSec, DNS. I don't think I had a single WINS question. Lots and lots on all sorts of security, be it DNS updates, authentication, router config, CA's, big emphasis on security.
I feel drained yet over the moon, going out for a couple of jars straight after work tonight.
70-217 here I come!! | |

| Thanks
I used the MS press book for this exam, MS Knowledge base, Technet, Transcenders and a test lab. I spent a lot of time on the internet researching different scenarios and trying them out on my lab, although I still don't think it was enough. Hands on experience is essential.

| Great Job!!! | |
|
| is transender good for this exam. | |

| I didn't think the Transcenders were good for this exam, only gave me a false sense of confidence.
The real exam questions were much more in depth, longer and just generally tougher. This is a beast, there is no question about it, I found every question difficult. The best preperation is lots of lab work, try and simulate as much of the course material as you can, break it then fix it. Read Technet and Knowledge base for ideas of issues that arise through use of these items. Test those out on your lab. The more work you do playing with the material, the easier the exam will be.
