i have one question which book is good for this exam the microsoft press book 2nd edition or the sybex book.
i am going to start studing for this exam tommorow, and want to know which is better to start with, i might as well read both, but which one is easier to read.
i have network+, and passed the mcsa with ease.

I think this is a question only _you_ can make. Go to borders/barnes&noble/_insert name_(megabookstore) and find out which you prefer.
For this exam I _personally_ would suggest Mark Minasi's "Mastering..." books and the Resource Kits. I own the MS Press book and am _not_ a fan. But see which writing/reading style suits you personally.
I tend to dislike the 'paint-by-numbers mcse' books. Just get the objectives from Microsoft's site and make sure you cover them.
'Thinking outside the box' is the key, because answering questions in an interview is _a lot_ more important than being able to answer them on a test.
Maybe playing around with Ethereal and Nmap isn't a bad idea either, learn to read packets off the wire, etc.
Remember, anyone can pass these test, you need to go _BEYOND_ it.
Anyways, welcome and good luck. I 99% lurk here, but I'm always pleased to see new folks use these boards and introduce themselves.
Also, check out the New Riders and O'Reilly Press books. They won't map exactly to the exam objectives, but you'll learn _a lot_ more.
Anyways, good luck. Feel free to post any questions/comments/concerns etc. | |

| Well, I have the Sybex bool for 70-216, and I'm pleased with it. It covers all the topics as they are listed at the Microsoft site.
