| joalvarez is administering the network infrastructure of his Windows 2000 network. The network has 4 subnets. joalvarez installs a DHCP Server service on one Windows 2000 Server computer on each of the four subnets. How do you configure DNS for dynamic updates from the DHCP service?
A. On the DHCP tab of each DHCP server's Properties sheet, check the Automatically update DNS client information check box.
B. On the DNS tab of each DHCP server's Properties sheet, check the Automatically update DHCP client information in DNS check box.
C. On the DHCP tab of each DHCP server's Properties sheet, clear the Automatically update DNS client information check box.
D. Do nothing, this is enabled by default.

Sorry about the delay with the answer. (it was me birthday yest. so didn't have time.)
Ok I think I'm about to be crucified.
The answer is D. Do nothing, this is enabled by default.
By default, updates are always performed for newly installed Windows 2000 DHCP servers and any new scopes created for them. If you do not want these updates, you must clear the Automatically update DHCP client information in DNS check box.
